Here’s a list of the top eateries in the Capital for Arabic, Moroccan, and Lebanese cuisine.
There are many specialty restaurants in the city that offer American and Italian cuisines, but Middle Eastern cuisine is our favorite. We love Butter Chicken as much as it is. We are drawn to the aromas and spices, which remind us of home. Here is a list of some of the top eateries in the Capital for Lebanese, Moroccan, and Arabic cuisine.
1. RRALA’S HABIBI
This authentic restaurant instantly transports you to the Middle East. Rrala’s has a lot to offer. It is filled with Arabian artifacts, make-believe palm trees, and paintings of medieval scenes. Traditional Arabic music plays softly in the spacious interiors that have private spaces and an outdoor terrace. It serves food from Lebanon and Morocco but also includes Syrian, Turkish, and many other Arabic influences on its menu. Dubai is home to the chef and his team, and many of their ingredients are also sourced there.
2. ZERZURA, CLARION COLLECTION, QUTAB INSTITUTIONAL AREA
Zerzura is well-known for its delicious cuisine, pleasant ambiance, and weekly themed nights. There is an outside and inside section that are both vibrantly decorated. The bar is located in the interior. It also has a DJ booth, a bar, and a lounge area with bright yellow lighting. While the outside section features Moroccan lamps hanging from trees and an open-fired oven, private gazebos, and an open-air wood-fired oven, the exterior section houses a bar.
Must-Try: Crushed Lamb Pizza, Tagine Of Artichoke and Potatoes and Saffron.
3. S BAR & LOUNGE, GREATER KAILASH I
Although they changed their names and moved down the street, the award-winning lounge still maintains the Shalom vibe. S Bar is a landmark on the nightscape of New York City. It has a tranquil atmosphere, comfortable lounge seating, and the highly-popular Sufi Nights on Wednesdays and Fridays. The bar also served great food and was the first to offer this type of cuisine.
4. ZIZO, CONNAUGHT PLACE
Zizo, backed by an internationally-renowned chef, is a must-visit eatery that offers authentic cuisine at unbeatable prices. The casual restaurant has two locations and serves simple, delicious, and fresh Lebanoni cuisine with a modern twist. We love the original location in CP and that they use organic ingredients. The food is also not too heavy on the stomach.
5. FAARSI, HAUZ KHAS
The small, informal restaurant has a warm atmosphere and a welcoming decor. It also offers a varied menu of Iranian and Lebanese cuisines. They have the best chargrilled Kebabs, and you will be captivated by their aroma as soon as your enter.
Must-Try: Grilled Chicken With Hummus and Chicken Shawarma Wrap. Cheese Sambousek. Mezze Platter
6. LEBANESE POINT, SAKET
Lebanese Point, a casual take-out joint, is a popular spot for young people. Although they don’t offer a lot of ambiances, they are very affordable and provide delicious chicken Shawarma and Grilled Lebanese Chicken Platters.
7. ALBAKE, COLONY
No matter how long you’ve lived in Delhi, there are chances that you have heard about the Shawarmas at Al-Bake. This small joint has been in operation for 14 years. It has a loyal clientele who swear by the Lebanese Shawarma. It consists of chicken slices that have been cooked on a rotary fire, seasoned with lemon, and rolled in pita bread.
8. AL- ZAITOON, SAKET
This QSR is located in DLF Place Mall’s food court. It serves authentic Arabian cuisine using old-fashioned recipes and honest ingredients. Every dish is unique because of the high quality sauces and herbs used.
